So many people believe they don't need these things because they have their nose to the grindstone. Or they believed something that someone told them, a limiting belief about how you have to work first before you can play, that self-care is something you put off for a better goal.

If you no longer had that limiting belief about self-care, how would your world be different? How would the people in your world respond to you? If you were to make self-care a priority and an everyday habit, how would you respond differently to the people around you, to the pressures, to the stress of your work?

As you begin to develop the habit of self-care, you will see that you don't have as much stress, that it requires less time and effort to do simple tasks. Remember, it's not necessary to put yourself at the bottom of the list. You really shouldn't listen to people who tell you that, or that voice in your head who's telling you that you have to work first. You might find that if you change this one simple habit of self-care, to the point where you put yourself first and get what you need, that you will be a much happier person and more fun to be around.

That you can sleep better and require less hours of sleep to wake up rested, instead of tired when that alarm clock goes off.
